Biography

Annika Nordin is a forest scientist and sustainability executive dedicated to advancing biodiversity in managed landscapes. As SVP Sustainability at Stora Enso and professor at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, she bridges science and practice to promote ecologically resilient forestry. Her research spans forest ecophysiology, climate adaptation, and biodiversity metrics. Annika has led transformative programs integrating conservation goals into operational forestry, with the ambition to influence both policy and industry standards. She has contributed to EU-level consultations and global dialogues on forest-based bioeconomy. Her work empowers cross-sector collaboration for nature-positive outcomes.
