Session Description

This dialogue plans to bring policymakers, development partners, experts to advance dialogue on climate resilience and sustainable management and conservation of shared ecosystem in BIMSTEC member countries. It will showcase regional lessons from BRIDGE programme, highlight science–policy linkages, and innovative solutions that donors and governments can support for replication in shared river ecosystems. Structured as a high-level session, the discussion will emphasize actionable strategies, financing opportunities, and role of benefit-sharing and NbS in building cross-sectoral collaboration. Regional organisation and relevant national governments, donors, IGOs, and partners committed to fostering sustainable development pathways are target audience.
