Karen HAMANN

Biography

Karen Hamann holds a Masters' Degree in Agriculture from University of Copenhagen (Denmark). Karen is the CEO of IFAU Institute for Food Studies & Agri Industrial Development, a Danish SME specialised in business development within the agri-food sector. She has more than 25 years of experience in applied research about food markets and agricultural innovation; obtained through collaboration with research institutions, organisations, businesses and farmers in several European-funded research projects. Karen leads the new living lab LivOrganic that explores how organic food can play a bigger role for enhacning food security.
