Prachi JADHAV

Biography

Prachi Jadhav is the Regional Programme Manager with WWF, leading Mekong in BALANCE (MiB), a Sida-funded initiative that aims to deliver inclusive and equitable biodiversity governance across Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

She works at the interface of policy, evidence, and community engagement to integrate the biodiversity–climate–rights nexus into decision-making. In this role, she oversees the programme’s work on national biodiversity strategies, Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs), and freshwater conservation planning, ensuring alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF). She has also worked on global commodity governance, co-authoring WWF’s 2024 Palm Oil Buyers Scorecard and leading advocacy with governments and private sector actors.

Before joining WWF, Prachi worked at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) South Asia, where she focused on gender and governance and led large-scale impact evaluations to inform policy. She has also worked in impact investing and policy research, and brings over a decade of experience from the social sector and consulting space.

Prachi holds a Master in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
