Biography
Global marine conservation leader, currently heading-up WWF's international marine fisheries effort. PhD in the environmental impacts of fishing and related solutions. Multi-sectoral experience and now focused on bridging field-level conservation initiatives with international policy and sustainability strategies, in addition to advocating for fishing methods that protect ecosystems while supporting livelihoods. Further engaged in promoting global frameworks through high profile platforms and policy mechanisms. Particular interest in elevating the prominence and importance of fisheries within global food system networks and high-level decision-makers.
