Global marine conservation leader, currently heading-up WWF's international marine fisheries effort. PhD level degree in the environmental impacts of fishing and solutions. Multi-sectoral experience and now focused on bridging field-level biology with international policy and sustainability strategies, in addition to advocating for fishing methods that protect ecosystems while supporting livelihoods. Further engaged in promoting global frameworks through high profile platforms and policy mechanisms. Particular interest in elevating the prominence and importance of fisheries within global food systems networks and high-level decision-makers.
