BRUNA MARIA LIMA MARTINS

Biography

I have been working to enhance marine protected areas along the Brazilian Amazonian coast. A core part of my work involves the engagement and development of local coastal communities. During this journey, I co-founded the Youth Network of Amazonian Mangroves ("Cuiras") and the Amazonian Mangrove Women ("Mothers of Mangroves"). Additionally, I articulate the Coalition of Amazonian Mangrove Guardians, which works to raise visibility and give a voice to these communities at a global level.
