Session Description

This 90-minute session will explore how countries and partners can accelerate action in protected, conserved, and restored areas to strengthen climate resilience. It aims to highlight tropical countries’ experiences and linking them with global donors and local initiatives. The sesion will be structred in three parts: 1. Setting the Scene by a high level reflection on the status 2. Challenges and perspectives from governmental representatives of tropical countries 3. Financing and Pathways forward
