Osama AL NOURI

Biography

Osama Al Nouri holds an executive master’s in business administration. Since July 2024, he works as Program Manager at the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). He is backstopping the MENA illegal wildlife trade Eco Solve and GUARD wildlife crime specialized projects. Prior to IFAW, he managed 2011-2023 the GEF-UNDP-BirdLife International Migratory Soaring Birds Project that operated in 11 countries in the Middle East & North East Africa covering the five productive sectors of hunting, energy, agriculture, waste management and tourism. Osama led policy actions in the Middle East and North Africaat different MEA's including CBD, UNFCCC, and CMS. He is QLF Alumni that designed and initiated several initiatives as part of the QLF Middle East Program. Osama is is an entrepreneur in travel, tourism, hospitality education and a practitioner in interfaith activities.
