Biography
Lucía Prieto Fustes works in the Ecosystem Resilience and Spatial Planning Programme at the IUCN Centre for Mediterranean Cooperation, based in Málaga, Spain. As Mediterranean and Ecosystems Programme Assistant, she helps coordinate a portfolio of projects related to tourism, protected areas and nature governance. She is also part of the MEET Network Secretariat, an NGO that creates ecotourism experiences in Mediterranean protected areas. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Salamanca, and a Master’s Degree in Tourism Management and Planning from the University of Málaga.
