Rhimou El Hamoumi

Biography

I am a biodiversity conservation expert and researcher specializing in wetlands in Morocco. I conduct scientific research on avian biodiversity, habitat structure, and ecological interactions, including waterbird surveys and analysis of population trends. My work also focuses on assessing the impacts  of  human  activities  and climate change on these fragile ecosystems. I have coordinated and contributed to numerous conservation and restoration projects, implementing nature-based solutions and supporting the sustainable management of Ramsar sites. I integrate research, technical expertise, and community engagement to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of conservation actions. I have actively participated in national and international programs and presented my work at various conferences and forums on biodiversity and wetlands.
