Thorsten Arndt is Head of Advocacy at PEFC International, which accounts for over 25% of the world’s certified production forests—more than 300 million hectares across 50+ countries. He works on PEFC’s engagement with global policy and market frameworks,making PEFC a trusted partner to support delivery of the Paris Agreement, Global Biodiversity Framework, SDG 15, and corporate sustainability goals.

He brings a combination of strategic insight and clear communication to his work—shaped by years of cross-sector engagement and a personal passion for public speaking, where he also contributes as a volunteer leader in Toastmasters International.
