Biography

Frédéric Castell is a Senior Natural Resources Officer at the Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity and Environment (OCB) within the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). He leads the team responsible for mainstreaming biodiversity across agrifood systems, a central component of FAO’s biodiversity strategy. His work focuses on integrating biodiversity considerations into agricultural sectors to advance global sustainability goals and support the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.
