Adriana BACHESCHI

Adriana Bacheschi is a Canadian public servant currently serving as the Director of National Parks Establishment at Parks Canada. In this role, she leads initiatives related to the creation and expansion of Canada's national parks in collaboration with Indigenous communities, organizations and governments. Her professional background is rooted in environmental and cultural heritage stewardship. Her work reflects a commitment to preserving natural and cultural landscapes through thoughtful and inclusive planning.

Adriana was born in Brazil but has spent most of her adult life in Canada living in the Canadian Prairies and Northern Canada. With an academic background in anthropology and ecological education, she has worked for the last 35 years in the areas of tourism, culture, and environment for various levels of government, non-profit organizations and private businesses. She currently lives on a small farm in central Saskatchewan, with her husband and two daughters in a passive house they built.
