20 years of experience in international conservation, and ca 10 years of experience on environmental and social safeguards in conservation, climate change adaptation and mitigation and sustainable development in support of human rights-based conservation and recognition of Indigenous Peoples' rights. Experienced on ESDD processes and ESIAs in and around protected areas, SESAs for larger scale programmes (incl. REDD+), development of Environmental and Social Management Frameworks and Plans and other safeguards tools (SEPs, IPPs, GRMs, etc.). Familiar with safeguards systems of IUCN, WWF, KfW, UNDP, WB, LLF, CI, GCF, CI-GEF, and others. Member of IUCN WCPA and CEESP.
