Why attend

Discover a proven, widely used workshop that helps make sense of the IPBES findings. This session offers a practical way to raise awareness, deepen understanding, and support action on biodiversity within your own organization or network.

Session Description

Created in France by the NGO Fresque de la Biodiversité, with support from the French Biodiversity Agency (OFB), the Biodiversity Collage workshop has engaged over 100,000 people in exploring the causes and consequences of biodiversity loss, based on the IPBES Global Assessment report.

This open-license, science-based tool turns complex biodiversity knowledge into a collaborative, visual, and action-oriented experience. Used by NGOs, governments, businesses, and schools, it helps participants connect science to their own realities and identify paths for positive change.

Active in over 50 countries, including France, Canada, Japan, Colombia, and Australia, the workshop is supported in Canada by Ateliers pour la Biodiversité.

In this 55-minute session, you will:
● Learn about the tool and its scientific foundations
● Experience a condensed, interactive version of the workshop
● Explore ways to use it to raise awareness and foster solutions

Transform understanding into collective action for biodiversity protection.
