Session Description
Southeast Asia is home to incredible biodiversity but has a high number of threatened species. Local organisations are on the frontlines of protecting them, yet they often lack the resources and opportunities needed to thrive. This session will explore how targeted support can unlock the full potential of conservation organisations in Southeast Asia – from initiatives like the ASAP Network of Women (NOW) which builds leadership and confidence among women conservationists, to wider mechanisms than strengthen resilience and amplify impact of organisations. Hear directly from local organisations about the challenges they face and what meaningful support looks like. Be part of the discussions on paving new solutions, increasing investment and building resilience for local organisations in Southeast Asia.
