Why attend

With global instability rising, the international environmental governance architecture and efforts to protect the planet are being put to the test. Through a dynamic moderated discussion, speakers will highlight the value of multilateralism in a polarised world - for nature and people.

Session Description

For over 50 years, countries have worked together through global agreements to fix the ozone layer, protect the ocean, and reduce air pollution. These efforts to protect the planet have helped the world agree on how to face major environmental challenges. Currently, the international environmental governance architecture is being put to the test. Multilateralism is under threat—and needs a reboot. Through this moderated discussion, panellists representing different constituencies, will, through an honest and dynamic conversation, unveil the value of multilateralism in a polarised world - for nature and people.
