Moving from ambition to action by operationalsing the Ocean Breakthroughts by supporting Global South Leadership in establishing a Global Network of Regenerative Seascapes. This session will discuss pahtways on how to accelerate and scale up ocean action, balancinbg global ambition with local action while adopting a regenerative development approach.

Session Description

The COP30 Presidency has called for a Global Mutirao to move from negotiation to impact. This session will discuss strategic pathways on how to leverage Global South Leadership in operationalissing the Ocean Breakthroughts to accelerate global transformative impact while unlocking the potential of local leadership by supporting the establishement of a global network of regenerative seascapes. It will discuss lessons learned from the Great Blue Wall initiative, Ocean Breakthoughts partners-led action and will explore how the One Ocean Partnership could play a strategic role in creating a global multi-stakeholders ocean regeneration movement.
