Session with interpretation
Why attend
Facts don’t move people. Emotions do. A new generation of leaders in science communication will share how to create engagements that reach heads of state and the hearts of the public. In this interactive session, they will discuss groundbreaking cases and offer direct advice on your urgent issues.
Session Description
In uncertain times, hope is not a naive belief that things will be okay, but a courageous acknowledgment that we have the power to shape the future. Without hope, policy is a patchwork of damage control. With hope, it becomes a blueprint for possibility. This session explores how conservation communication can harness hope as a tool for imagination, turning fear into fuel for action. Art and science together reveal the invisible, making complex environmental challenges emotionally tangible and actionable. Featuring thought leaders in storytelling, conservation, and policy, this session will showcase strategies that frame hope not as an abstract ideal, but as a driver of change, a force that fosters collaboration, and a catalyst for courageous action in the face of uncertainty. Through a World Café format, participants will engage in inspiring collaborations between conservation, art, and science to explore visionary storytelling and creative communication as tools for impactful change.Organized by
