Why attend
Jeju is promoting the expansion of renewable energy, eco-friendly transportation systems, and circular economy policies to achieve "2035 Carbon Neutral." We will share Jeju's policy and experiences, and by incorporating the expertise and resources of the participants, we will develop more effective policies and emphasize everyone's role in this effort.
Session Description
This session will be a platform for exchanging effective carbon-neutral solutions and practical strategies to reduce the climate crisis. Participants will have the opportunity to hear about innovative technologies, policies, and social practices for reducing carbon emissions in Jeju, and engage in discussions on strategies and ideas for their practical implementation. In particular, methods for implementing practices in areas such as the expansion of renewable energy, sustainable transportation systems, and carbon-neutral activities will be proposed.Additionally, the session will emphasize the importance of global cooperation, present successful case studies, and suggest ways to apply them in other regions. It will provide an opportunity to strengthen the roles of global members in reducing climate change.
