This session will outline the state of mangrove ecosystems from around the world, and highlight transformative tools and approaches to drive collective impacts towards global, regional and national goals.

Session Description

This session will highlight best practices, tools and lessons learned from the Global Mangrove Alliance, Save Our Mangroves Now initiative, and others in support of the Mangrove Breakthrough and beyond, bringing together governments, researchers, conservation actors and financial mechanisms to collectively mobilize support to protect and restore 15 million ha of mangroves globally by 2030. Participants will share how their transformative collaboration from global to local levels drives action, accounting for the needs and expectations of actors from local communities to global financial institutions.
