Learn how leading biodiversity tools: IBAT, STAR, ENCORE, and WWF’s Biodiversity Risk Filter work together to support nature-positive decision making. This interactive session offers live demonstrations, business case studies, and expert insights, equipping you with practical knowledge to integrate spatial data into biodiversity risk assessment and strategy.

Session Description

This session will convene speakers from both risk tools and business sector leaders, such as ENCORE, IBAT, IUCN’s Species Threat Abatement and Restoration metric (STAR), and WWF’s Biodiversity Risk Filter, to explore innovative pathways for utilizing spatial or sectoral risk data in decision-making, aligning with the transition to Nature-Positive Economies and Societies. By showcasing successful partnerships and practical examples from both private and public sectors, the session will facilitate the exchange of insights and best practices between data developers and data users to tackle biodiversity loss. Hands-on activities and tool demonstrations will provide interactive learning opportunities, emphasizing real-world applications.
