Session Description

Amidst the urgent global challenges of biodiversity loss and climate change, this high-level ministerial session will explore the transformative role of emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence, earth observation, advanced MRV systems, and blue-carbon science—in accelerating nature-positive action. Convened by the United Arab Emirates, the dialogue brings together Ministers from diverse regions to share insights on integrating innovation into national strategies, enhancing transparency, and strengthening global cooperation. The session will highlight real-world applications and foster alignment between national priorities and international partnerships. Through focused interventions and an open exchange of ideas, participants will examine how disruptive technologies can deliver measurable impact and scalable solutions for nature and climate. The event will conclude with a collective call to collaborate—inviting governments, investors, and partners to unite around high-integrity, technology-enabled pathways for biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
