AI is already transforming conservation. Skylight uses AI to detect potential illegal fishing, helping restore our seas and protect species like sharks and turtles. EarthRanger unifies data from satellites, patrols, GPS tags, and field reports into one platform, strengthening protection both at sea and on land. Together, these free, real-time technologies are empowering practitioners worldwide to respond faster, improve coordination, and make more informed decisions. This session will provide an overview of Skylight and EarthRanger’s capabilities, with demonstrations of how they are applied in the field. Participants will gain insight into how conservationists are using AI and the latest technologies to safeguard marine ecosystems and wildlife, and explore practical applications relevant to their own work.Organised by
