Why attend
This is an opportunity to hear directly from indigenous and community delegates about their aspirations for conservation and sustainable use on their lands, and the kinds of changes they would like to see in the support provided by conservation actors.
Session Description
One change that is needed in order to scale up support for indigenous and community-led conservation is simply to listen to what they have to say rather than making assumptions about their views. In this session, IP and LC delegates will communicate some key messages about what they think conservationists need to do differently to support them in conservation and sustainable use on their lands and territories.Organized by
