Session Description
The "management effectiveness assesstment" has always been a highly valued topic for IUCN in its various forums. In this sense, the Management Analysis and Monitoring System – SAMGe, developed by the agency responsible for managing Brazil’s federal protected areas, emerges as an extremely relevant and strategic subject to be brought into the current context. This applies both as a tool for assessing management effectiveness and for integrating planning processes. A brief presentation of the tool, its results, and potentialities will be provided.Partners
