Discover how their community-led actions advance conservation, strengthen climate resilience, and highlight Indigenous leadership in protecting the planet.

Session Description

This session will feature young Indigenous leaders from the Inclusive Conservation Initiative and the Stewarding the Earth program, who will share visual stories that showcase the impact of their work in their territories. Each Fellow will present a photograph illustrating how their initiatives address climate change, promote biodiversity conservation, and strengthen the resilience of their communities and ecosystems. Through personal and community-centered narratives, participants will gain insights into innovative approaches led by Indigenous Peoples, rooted in traditional knowledge and cultural values. The goal of this session is to inspire collaboration, amplify Indigenous leadership, and demonstrate the vital role of community-driven solutions in tackling global environmental challenges.
