Why attend

After the adoption of Motion 095 submitted to IUCN, the meeting was held to provide information on the resolution about Ex-situ conservation of wild plants seeds of SIDS39, discuss current conservation actions and future plans of each member of the SIDS region, and explore possibilities for collaboration with Motion 095.

Session Description

To successfully implement Motion 95, submitted by the Korea Forest Service, we are building a network and recruiting partner organizations. We will introduce our organization and highlight the work the Korea Forest Service is doing to conserve biodiversity in SIDS regions. We will also gather information on conservation activities from each country and foster collaborative efforts to conserve wild plants in SIDS regions.
