Antonela Cobanaj is a Specialist at the Directorate of Project Development in the National Agency of Protected Areas of Albania, where she has been working since 2019. She holds a Master of Science in Biology and is currently completing her PhD studies.
With more than five years of experience in the field of nature conservation, Antonela has contributed to the design and management of numerous projects focused on protected areas, species conservation, and environmental policy-making. Her work bridges science, practice, and community engagement, with a particular passion for integrating local voices into conservation strategies.
Fluent in Albanian, English, Italian, Spanish, and Turkish, Antonela brings an international perspective and an open, collaborative spirit to her work. She believes that conservation is not only about protecting biodiversity but also about fostering connections between people and nature.
