Astrid DELAPORTE-SPRENGERS

Biography

Astrid Delaporte-Sprengers is an environmental and biodiversity engineer at TotalEnergies. She supports the implementation of biodiversity best practices across company’s sites and promotes employees’ awareness through the creation of internal tools such as web platforms, guides, and training programs. She consolidates the company’s biodiversity reporting and ensures compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). She played a leading role in the company’s materiality analysis of Dependencies, Impacts, Risks, and Opportunities (DIROs). Astrid is a member of Ipieca’s Environment Group and co-chairs its Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) taskforce. Prior to her current role, Astrid worked on assessing environmental risks associated with TotalEnergies’ chemical products. Before joining the company, she contributed to drafting the United Nations’ 2019 Global Sustainable Development Report. She also conducted marine biology research at the Scientific Centre of Monaco, focusing on the effects of ocean acidification on corals. Astrid holds a master’s degree from the French engineering school ENSIL and participated in international study programs at Imperial College London (UK) and at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (Argentina).
