Brian Juhyuk Lee serves as the Sustainability Lead at Google.org, where he is responsible for overseeing the organization's sustainability grantmaking, partnerships, and engagements. Before joining Google, Brian held the position of Sustainability Program Manager at the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI). In this role, he facilitated collaborations among corporate CEOs aimed at accelerating the global transition to a sustainable future, operating under the distinguished patronage of His Majesty, King Charles III. Preceding his tenure at SMI, Brian worked as a digital strategy consultant at EY and fulfilled his military service as a sergeant in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps. He earned dual bachelor's degrees in business and statistics from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Of Korean heritage, Brian spent his formative eighteen years in Nairobi, Kenya, prior to relocating to the United States for his university education. He is presently based at Google's San Francisco office.
