Carlos Augusto DE ALENCAR PINHEIRO

Biography

Forest Engineer, graduated from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), with a Master’s degree from the same institution. A federal public servant at the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), he also works as an Instructor at the Biodiversity Conservation Training Center (ACADEBIO), specializing in combating environmental crimes related to flora. He joined the federal service through a public examination in 2003 and has served in the State of Pará as head of a protected area and as a regional coordinator. He is currently the head of the Integrated Management Center of Araripe, in Ceará, Brazil.
