Caroline POLLOCK

Biography

Senior Programme Coordinator for the IUCN Red List Unit, with 27 years’ experience of working in conservation science. My main focus is on extinction risk assessments for The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™ (www.iucnredlist.org), and regional and national Red List processes. I am very familiar with working with international networks of scientists and organizations. I have developed a wide range of training materials for use online and in workshops, designed to explain complex methodologies and technical processes in a clear and easy-to-understand way. These materials became the foundation of the IUCN Red List training curriculum  and the online IUCN Red List training course.
