Mr. B. Chimeddorj is a wildlife biologist with special focus on antelope conservation works in Mongolia. He was a researcher at the Institute of Biology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS). In 2007, he joined WWF family as a manager of saiga conservation project and played the key role in the dramatic recovery of the species and its expansion of habitats to historical range after 50 years. Mr. Chimeddorj has extensive experience and skills towards promoting community based nature resource management, species conservation and undertaking broad education and awareness activities. He also has solid programme management skills e.g. planning, budgeting, implementing, monitoring and evaluating. In recognition of his commitment to nature conservation, he was granted by “Medal for excellence in border security” and the badge of “Leading environmentalist” by the Government of Mongolia. Currently, he serves as a steering committee member of “Saiga Conservation Alliance” international NGO.
