Cloé TRéPANIER

Biography

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Université Laval and a Master’s degree in International Studies, specializing in Trade and Investment. As part of her graduate studies, she completed her final internship at the Mission of Canada to the European Union, working in the field of economy and development.

After completing her Master’s, she undertook a second internship with the Conference of Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Governors and Premiers. Based in Chicago, this opportunity allowed her to gain deeper knowledge of environmental issues, green investments, and bilateral agreements.

Her Master’s thesis focused on the evolution of the environmental cooperation framework within the North American free trade zone, particularly following the entry into force of CUSMA.

As such, trade policy, sustainable investment, and socio-political issues are at the core of her expertise.
