Corlé Swart is the Community Stewardship Director at Conservation International, where she leads the organization’s Herding for Health portfolio in partnership with Peace Parks Foundation. Her work centers on partnering with livestock farmers to promote sustainable land use through collective community governance, with a focus on healthier rangelands, healthier livestock, and thriving livelihoods. With a background in human-wildlife conflict and community stewardship, Corlé brings extensive experience in community development and in supporting local organizations to implement inclusive, rights-based environmental solutions. She is a passionate advocate for conservation approaches that prioritize equity, collaboration, and long-term sustainability, working to build resilient landscapes that benefit both people and nature.
