Biography

International Environmental Expert with extensive experience of over 40 years in dealing with international agencies, governments, civil society, grass root organizations and media. Professional experience in fostering regional and international partnerships and activities. Demonstrated ability to manage programs and projects and lead teams of professionals to solve technical and regulatory issues. Has extensive experience in issues related to sustainable development including environment, water and sanitation, climate change, DRR, energy, biodiversity, SDGs and participatory development and governance. Over the years has established solid partnerships with numerous agencies active in the Mediterranean and Africa e.g., EU bodies, UfM, LAS, UNEP, ESCWA, IUCN and many more. He has established numerous of initiatives on both regional and local levels.
