As a trained agricultural engineer, I completed my academic journey with a master's degree in economics and then a master's degree in anthropology. I began my professional career by consulting on biodiversity for French companies and local authorities. I continued my career in Central Africa, focusing on nature conservation issues, particularly on the management effectiveness of protected areas and combating the trafficking of endangered species. I then joined the French Committee of the IUCN as a project manager for 'protected area management,' where I facilitated discussions on world heritage and naturalness. Currently, as the 'Protected Areas' coordinator, I oversee activities related to contributions to French policies, development of the Green List, support for managers of World Heritage sites, and promotion of naturalness and free evolution.
