HON. DR. EVELYN NDLOVU, MINISTER OF ENVIRONMENT, CLIMATE AND WILDLIFE, REPUBLIC OF ZIMBABWE. PROFESSIONAL LIFE • She possesses an affluence of leadership skills and experience both in public and private sectors. • While serving her country in the public sector, she rose through the ranks from the position of Senior Economist in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning to Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperative Development. • She was then appointed as a Minister of State in the office of the Vice President of the Republic of Zimbabwe in 2018. • From 2021 - 2023, she was appointed to be the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education. She facilitated through policy implementation and engaging various education partners in promoting equitable, quality, inclusive, relevant and competence driven primary, secondary and non-formal education. • From 2023 – 2025, she was appointed Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution in Matabeleland South Province. She was incharge of coordinating 26 Ministries, Departments and Agencies. Promotion of the devolution agenda and supervising the implementation of government programs and projects in Matabeleland South Province. • Hon. Dr. Evelyn Ndlovu is currently a Member of the House of Assembly elect (Women’s Quota – Bulilima Constituency)
