Gloria Amor Paredes

Biography

Gloria Amor Paredes is an environmental education and community development specialist with over a decade of experience in forest and water restoration, Indigenous knowledge systems, and climate justice advocacy. She is the co-founder of Salumayag Youth Collective for Forests, a women- and Indigenous youth-led initiative in Mindanao dedicated to forest restoration, regenerative practices, and culture-based environmental education. She also currently serves as E-learning and Training Officer at RECOFTC, where she designs and facilitates inclusive trainings and online courses on forest governance and sustainable land investments, while continuing to support community-based forest restoration initiatives in the Philippines and across Asia.
