Biography
Grygorii Kolomytsev is a biologist and co-founder of the Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group (UNCG), active in nature conservation and environmental advocacy for over 15 years. His work combines scientific research on biodiversity and climate change with digital communications and public engagement for Ukrainian NGOs. He has contributed to international assessments, including IPBES, supported national biodiversity reporting, and participated in projects with leading conservation organizations. With expertise spanning research, digital platforms, and community mobilization, he focuses on strengthening the role of civil society in protecting Ukraine’s natural heritage.
