HESTER GROENEWALD

Hesta Groenewald is a Senior Associate with the PeaceNexus Foundation, where she supports conservation and climate-focused organisations to integrate conflict sensitivity into their work. She accompanies organisational change and learning processes and produces technical guidance and training materials on conflict-sensitive conservation and gender and conflict for PeaceNexus partners and other multi-lateral, NGO and government clients. She is the coordinator and lead author of the Conflict-Sensitive Conservation online course being launched at Congress. Hesta has been working on conflict prevention and peacebuilding for more than 20 years, holding technical advisory and senior management positions, predominantly in the NGO sector.
