Jonathan DIAZ

Jonathan Diaz currently serves as the Zoological Senior Manager for Zoo Support and Rescue at Miral Experiences in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, he leads a team responsible for managing and coordinating rescue efforts. Additionally, Jonathan fosters relationships with key stakeholders in the Gulf region, including the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi and various wildlife conservation groups. With over 20 years of experience working at SeaWorld’s various locations, Jonathan brings a wealth of experience to his role. 

Prior to his current role, Jonathan held the position of Zoological Manager for Zoo Support and Rescue at Miral Experiences, where he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and safety protocols for the rescue and rehabilitation of various marine animals, such as dugongs, cetaceans, sea turtles, sea snakes and avian species.
