Biography
Julie has been leading conservation projects and organizations for more than years. She is the Director of Wildlife Impact, a nonprofit that is advancing wildlife conservation through applied conservation research, evidence-based monitoring and evaluation, and capacity development. Recent work includes building capacity for local organizations to promote human-orangutan coexistence and serving as lead author for new IUCN guidelines on responsible translocations of displaced wildlife and best practice guidance on orangutan wild-to-wild translocations.
