Biography
Kamal Bou Assi, member of Shouf Biosphere Reserve (SBR) since 2008, part of a team of 70 full timer and more than 150 seasonal staff.
Kamal coordinated the Biosphere Reserve's ecotourism program until 2017 and led related projects. then, coordinated other conservation and livelihood projects.
Now, head projects development unit, focusing not only within the reserve but also on identifying new conservation sites and ensuring landscape connectivity between protected areas in the southern Lebanon, in specific between SBR and Mount Hermon Nature reserve.
