Dr. Karim Haggar is part of the sustainability team at Roland Berger’s Dubai office and has accumulated about 10 years of experience in strategy consulting across Canada, the US, and the Middle East. He joined Roland Berger in 2022.
His work at Roland Berger focuses on conservation, biodiversity, circularity, ESG strategy, and other sustainability-related topics. In addition to his consulting role, Karim is an angel investor and mentor to green and social entrepreneurs. He previously co-founded and managed an award-winning business in sustainable and educational travel, based in Canada, which organized expeditions in over 30 countries across 5 continents.
Karim holds a PhD in strategy and innovation management and has taught an entrepreneurship course at McGill University in Canada. He has also authored several publications on strategy, conservation, and sustainable travel and is regularly invited to speak at international events.
