Kevin CORREIA

Biography

Kevin Correia (born 2000) is a Mozambican-Portuguese Environmental Engineer passionate about biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and innovative finance. Currently works as a Junior Project Officer at the Foundation for the Conservation of Biodiversity (BIOFUND). At BIOFUND, he supports the implementation of the Coastal Livelihoods and Climate Resilience (CLCR) project, contributes to fundraising efforts to develop new financing opportunities for conservation, and serves as the IUCN focal point, having led the organization’s membership process with IUCN.
Kevin began his professional journey interning at the Ministry of Land and Environment (DMC), working on climate policy initiatives, before joining BIOFUND through the Mozambique Conservation Leadership Program (PLCM), which inspired his commitment to conservation and climate action.
As a young professional, Kevin is building a career dedicated to advancing ecosystem-based solutions, sustainable development, and youth leadership in conservation.
