KOUDERIN K. MARTIAL

Biography

Mr. KOUDERIN Kotcholé Martial is a committed Beninese professional in the fields of rural development, environmental governance, and social innovation. He currently serves as the Executive Director of CREDI-ONG (Regional Center for Research and Education for Integrated Development), a leading organization in Benin specializing in sustainable agriculture, community-based biodiversity conservation, and environmental education.

Holder of a degree [to be specified, e.g., in agronomic sciences, rural development, or project management], he has accumulated over [xx] years of experience in the design, implementation, and monitoring of multisectoral development projects, particularly in:

  • Participatory natural resource management,
  • Promotion of agroecology and family farming,
  • Strengthening of farmers’ organizations,
  • Environmental citizenship education and community awareness.

Under his leadership, CREDI-ONG has significantly expanded its influence both nationally and regionally, notably through the Community Natural Park of the Sitatunga Valley, as well as through innovative programs supporting youth, rural women, and climate-resilient agricultural practices.

Mr. KOUDERIN is also recognized for his expertise in:

  • Mobilizing technical and financial partnerships,
  • Participatory governance and multidisciplinary team leadership,
  • Strategic communication for inclusive and sustainable development.

Firmly convinced that development is rooted in dignity, collective responsibility, and local ownership, he advocates for the empowerment of grassroots communities.

He is regularly invited as a trainer, facilitator, or panelist in multi-stakeholder forums both in Benin and internationally.
