Kristin Smithers is the Advocacy and Development Officer at Wilderness Foundation Africa, specialising in strategic advocacy, development, and public affairs. She has extensive experience managing large-scale funding grants, driving multi-partisan parliamentary engagement in complex political contexts, shaping policy development and analysis, and building major funding partnerships. Passionate about bridging perspectives across society and elevating marginalised voices in decision-making, Kristin is committed to advancing inclusive and equitable environmental governance. She is also pursuing an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
